This is a long shot, but back in the early 90's I was given a small bottle, maybe 4 oz, of a type of lotion from Mac Tools. It was called something glove I think. It was a white bottle with a Mac Tools label. It's purpose was to apply it before your hands got dirty, and cleanup was easier.
Does anyone remember what I am talking about. I thought I might still have it, but I can't seem to find it.

Never used it but vaguely recall a product like that. Are you sure it was Mac tools? Internet search turned up this by Macgregor Greer Co seems to be from New Zealand.

I'm 95% sure it was Mac Tools. But the guy that gave it to me was a Matco fan, so maybe 5% possibility it was Matco. This is driving me nuts now. I really hope I come across it. LOL

Before Nitrile gloves became a thing we used a product called "Barrier Cream" in the UK, it sounds very similar to that.
