Mac Tools warranty - Positive experience!

I just want to say how pleased I have been dealing with Mac. I don't have a Mac dealer, so I mailed a few broken tools in to them last Monday. Well, today UPS delivered my replacement tools. Wow that was fast!

Here is what they replaced:

3/8 drive standard ratchet with a bad spring

1/4 drive flex ratchet with a broken pin

2 screwdrivers with broken tips

bit holding screwdriver with a slipping bit holder

The replacement tools were every bit as good as the old ones, and the bit screwdriver was actually much nicer.

I am so glad to be able to have positive things to say about a company's warranty and customer service, especially after my Craftsman breaker bar experience.

Did you call them or send them an email? I have sent them two emails with questions about having my impact checked out and no response:headscrat

I've heard that they're pretty quick to send replacements, but the issue is people sending USA tools and getting china tools back. I'm assuming that isn't the case here.

I'll add that my experience with them was pretty good too. Sent in a 3/4 combo wrench with flaking chrome without calling and about 3 weeks later I got a new USA Knuckle Saver in return. A bit slow, but without any contact over the phone or email I can't complain. Definitely an easy, no questions asked transaction.

Same experience for me; I sent a couple of U.S. made tools, and received same in about two weeks.

Some tools I sent to Snap On for warranty took one month. Received them this week.
