Why make a pointless, highly opinionated, post, without also telling us how much Snap-On and their warranty *****? If you're going to stir **** at least do it right.

Because snap-on has warrented everything i have ever needed no questions! Why would somebody make a completly pointless thread? These no point here. Just starting the ******* contest because thats all this is going to be. Its mainly mac's dealers that **** a$$. Takes them weeks to get a replacement never have replacements on the truck. I typically walk on the snapon truck and walk off with a new tool or a repaired tool. Cant typically say the same about mac.

Well I'm not saying that the other toll truck warranties ****. Never had a problem with SO or Matco so far. But I've heard people saying how much MAC ***** because there are no dealers in the area or they wont warranty something. I needed more slides for my MB1500 and called em up, the guy on the other side warrantied my slides for 3 drawers, sent me a new lock and a key, a ratchet, spark plug socket, tie rod tool, and couple of sockets. This was my third time dealing with them over the phone. I have nothing but good things to say about them. I didn't want to stir up **** or offend some one.

Glad they helped u out bud. Shoulda put that in the first post. Like i said its usually the dealers or lack of a dealer. In my experience and alot of others most mac dealers just want to sell tools and make money not loyal customers and help them out. Alot of the local dealers here stop servicing shops if they dont sprnd tons of money with them and yada yada just poor service. Evrn if u bought $10,000 in tools off them. Once u stop. **** gone.

Mac warranty was great for me while it lasted.had countless ratchets rebuilt or replaced, sockets, and screw drivers replaced.bought a mb1000a box that was faulty, had several slides and drawers replaced.until a few months later they stepped up and replaced the entire box, gave me a box cover and a stainless top free for the troubles.also had a cart that was horrid and they ended buying it back from me for what I paid after trade in,and also whipped my truck account clean.but that was the last time I stepped on a Mac truck, hasn't been back since and I always see him around town.i guess I must of been a problem customer, it's a shame I liked that guy.

I had the slides warrantied because some were really hard to push and pull and some would let the drawer open on its own. A tie rod remover socket, a ratchet, and a couple of sockets that had cracks in them. The tie rod tool shattered as I was using it. The ratchet was skipping teeth and i asked them to give me a rebuild kit, but instead they gave me a new ratchet.

Used Mac's mail in warranty once. Some issues as the replacement ratchet they sent me had a crooked soft grip. I made a post about it here.

After I sold the garage I got on a Mac truck to get a socket warranted. He asked me to get off the truck. It wasn't worth mailing in so I pitched the socket.
