Mac Tools Warranty

I've read in other threads where flaking chrome is a warranty issue with Snap On tools. Does anyone know if Mac tools has a similar policy?

I believe they do, and according to what I have read on here, MAC has great service. I have a 12mm wrench I need to send out one of these days (flaking chrome).

Beware kams, alot of people will simply put on here that Mac ***** and you should expect it, as far as their warranty issues go IDK, never had a problem before.

Send it in; they should send you a new one or give them a call!

I called and the cust serv rep said send it in. I'll update the thread when everything is said and done, and thank you for your quick replies.

send that stuff in, the local dealer here gives everyone a hard time for that kind of stuff. says he has a limit on what he can warranty per month.

I just sent in some sockets about a month ago and got replacements in about two weeks. They were made in the USA too.

I have heard little, if anything good, about MAC truck dealers. I see a few trucks in my area from time to time, but I haven't set foot on one because of these stories...Everybody seems to say good things about mailing their stuff in though.

my mac dealer is the man. i wonder why it seems so many of the other ones drop the ball. every one's different though, i suppose.
