Mac VRP15

Good morning everyone. What is your opinion of the Mac VRP15 1/2" drive long handle ratchet?

I have not used that particular one but I would recommend the new 90 tooth ratchet from Mac.

Revamped Proto J5450. Good ratchet. Is that one quick release ?
I've got an 5450XLQR 15". It's a fine ratchet.The REAL Proto looks better than that one.
I think i scoured around and got mine online for about $80

Mac doesn't have the 90 out in 1/2 yet. It'll be considerably higher in price and I find super fine teeth to be a non-issue when you're working on something that requires a bat to remove bolts...LOL
That or the XLQR will do you just fine for 50 years or so. No need in waiting for the 90......unless you want flex head ?

The flex head 1/2 is on the trucks right now, wish the rest of the line would be out now

I have been using a model VR15PA for a few years and it has been a very good ratchet; not sure about the VR15 but if it is anything like my older model it will be good.
