Hi, I have a set of what I think may be some type of sized punches.

I only have one pictured, I have seen them before. I know they are used in machine shops. I have a 4 piece set of them and I wanted to learn more about them

Yup. they are labeled 1/4" and then by thread pitch.

Thank you for the swift response, I got them a while ago at an auction and I could figure out what they were used for, for the life of me. I will probably hang on to this set. Thanks for all the great feedback.

Its a hole transfer punch set. Looks like you remove the size you need put them into something then place the object down on what it is to be bolted to scribe hole locations.
