I just bought a set of supercombo wrenches, but the numbers are too small to read. Any thoughts on how I could get the numbers much larger? I'd like them on the open end side and on the base.

I'm worried about the chrome finish.

Paint pen and heat to whatever the instructions say. The temp they get heated to in the oven 350-400 shouldn't effect the strength of the metal but I've done ceramic mugs with them and even tossing them in the dishwasher the letter have outlasted the cups ( I have kids). Lots of colors and helps to distinguish your wrenches.

That is how small they are compared to snapon. I love the supercombos but they are too damn hard to see.

I have the same complaint on their wrenches and sockets - you about need a microscope to read the 7mm wrench. No idea what they were thinking. You might look at having them laser etched.
