Machinist expertise needed- denver/boulder area

***Regular user but infrequent poster*** I just bought lots of vintage mechanic and machinist tools from a garage sale. I'm good with figuring out the mechanics tools, but sadly don't know diddly about machinists tools, etc..... I have lots of vintage LS Starrett, and a Gerstner toolbox with an included 'machinerys handbook'.(pretty sure the box is from the 40's or 50's) My basic goal is to figure it out, and learn stuff from someone who knows what they're talking about, and pass along some deals...... I'm pretty busy during the week but free weekends.

I also have a good amount of vintage Snap-On and lots of other miscellaneous if anyone is interested.....(can't post in classifieds but I'm no dirtbag) I'm basically looking to sell/trade, etc... all this stuff I don't particularly need... I basically work 7-5 M-F so I'm not going to be super fast on replys during the week.......

Just post pics. Some of the tools can be worth money or nothing if they aren't accurate.

You should post some good clean photos with the tools arranged tightly but not over lapping. We like tools around here but we like photos second best.

Most factory made machinist type tools have a make and model number on them. Put that into google, that will tell you what it is. Then type "how to use xxyy" and that should tell you how to use the specific tool.
