I have a bunch of misc. tooling end mills drills reamers taps etc. All U.S., German, Swiss made except the worlds smallest tool kit and the exacto knife, even the tweezers are german swiss and us made. Condition ranges from new to like new to scrap metal the vast majority is in very good shape. The dividers points do not match up and the little machinist vise is kind of rough.

Look the pictures over and make me a reasonable offer and they are yours. I really dont feeling like sorting this out for ebay. Let me know if you need better pix questions etc.

The first four pix show everything the rest are just close ups.

I'm not sure I saw any straight reamers in those pics.. can you take some better shots? I would be interested in straight reamers, counterbores (if you have any) and rules. I have so many endmills I don't know what to do with them all, but I guess more are good if they're cheap enough :D...

oh, wtf.. what do you want for the whole lot? PM me...

I would be interested in the small hole gages, there were four of them shown in one of the pics. That is all I need though. If you are interested let me know.

I would like some items in this picture make up. The bearings and specers/washers and the brass thrust bearing. The vise that is holding the brush. The pointed scribe that is flat and has two right angles kinda like a z with the angled portion squared up., the saws. And in the last picture the two knurled parts, the two pieces with the "balls" on the end of them and the rounds with a flat on the end. I'll Pm you with an offer and shipping address.

KC, Are you his daddy or the classified police? It was not an assumption based on the picture. It was simply a friendly gesture and based on experience. Now show some respect for your elders and quit with the pompous attitude. :beer:

bad assumptions are a no no, along with posting **** in a classified ad. :headshake

I walk out in my garage in my socks to grab things, get over it. So he threw on some sandals to go out and take a picture, good grief.

I'm not even going to dignify that with an answer...

As for the OP, if you think about separating it, I might be interested in some things.

Hmmm...cutting tools, drill bits, set up tools, a few "precision" measuring tools and assorted odds & ends all thrown into a box. Yeah...not a bargain most self-respecting PROFESSIONAL machinists would be interested in. I guess it would do for an amateur or home-shop machinist.

Endmills and drillbits do a piss poor job of functioning when their sharpened edges have been banging, rubbing and smacking into eachother.

Precision measuring tools are just that...PRECISION MEASURING DEVICES. They deserve the care and respect that such a label entails. Otherwise don't expect them to provide precise measurements.

These aren't triple chrome-plated Snap-On open-end wrenches. These are cutting tools meant to turn metal stock into usable products. You can't treat them like a wrench. Sharp edges should always be protected either with the plastic or cardboard tubes they were provided with or at least some oiled kraft paper to separate them. Sharpening an endmill isn't cheap or easy. And holding tolerances with a resharpened endmill or drill isn't easy either.

I guess if this is for some "good-enough" work, then this is a "good-enough" haul.

Still have this stuff? Gonna seperate or sell the whole lot?

I don't even know what half of it is, but there are a few items I'd like to have.

Marked 'em in yellow in the pics below;
