Hi, all.

I have a tool I am going to sell but don’t know much about it other than it’s a shop made machinist tool likely used with a mill or drill press. Any info would be appreciated. Any idea of its value?

Thanks!

More pictures would be helpful.

From the picture you have, it looks like some kind of table for fixturing parts, could index, could tilt, could mount on something else.

I wouldn't hold your breath on price. Even if its a brand name, manual machining tools like that have lost a TON of value since CNC became so affordable. I would think you'd be doing pretty great to get $50 out of it if all the parts are there and it's in good shape. Hard to get good money for REALLY high end rotary tables, dividing heads, indexers and things like that these days, much less a shop made one.

Yeah its a rotary table that can be indexed

bolt it to the table of a milling machine and clamp your part on top and you can drill holes in a circle or any number of other tasks. Many of them have a crank and gear that turns them - this one looks like a manual turn item.

Unfortunately in the age of CNC machines, these tools aren't nearly as valuable as they used to be. I haven't used my 12 inch rotary table in years.

Thank you all for the good info. Someone was selling it cheaply at the flea and I am a sucker for nice tooling. I would imagine this piece took a good long time for someone to make.
