I purchased an old Plumb Tool box at an auction and it had a lot of tools inside it which I think are machinist tools but I am not sure about them so I am including pictures so they can be identified hopefully!

Morse taper (MT) adapters and a couple hook pin spanners. The latter really only useful if you have a corresponding accy....like a collet closer

The wedges are drifts and go in those windows on the tapered adapters to drive them apart: insert drift, hit w hammer. Simple :)

Morris adapters are for lathe or drill press.

Pin spanners are useful only if you need them

Incomplete lantern tool post, for lathe

Some nice plumb bobs there and a pile of HSS toolbits.

The tapered wedges were always called "drill drifts" where I worked.

From what you show as far as tools, they belong to someone that ran a lathe and drill press. Your top pic shows three drifts for knocking out the taper adapters for a drill press. The two handles with the pins are use on a round nut commonly used on collet blocks, and the square with the post and slot is for the compound on a lathe.

Your second set of pics and last set of pics are showing a couple Plumb Bobs (the pointy tools), a lot of tool bits for lathe work, and Tap handles.

At the top of the pic, the long rods with the small knurled portion is either extensions for depth mics, or inside mics. I had to see a better pic.
