Been thrashing on the shed again, skinned the south wall with all the windows in it, what a PIA that was, took 4 days to do that wall with a wee bit of help from the missus. The North wall took a day and a half, finished that wall this morning.
I'm using the tin that came with the reclaimed building, so some of the sheets need corners straightened out before I can hang them up.
here's a couple of pics
I picked up the metal clad double glazed windows from the local Habitat for Humanity store, paid anywhere between $50-$100 each , most of them new with the stickers on them.

What did you put along the cold joint before you poured the next section of slab? Im going to do my slab in sections also. Im thinking some kind of plastic strip or something so the concrete cant adhere to the other slab since it needs to be a control joint??

More progress pics.
Even though the shed is a reclaimed building I went with new tin for the roof,
south side of the roof is finished ,north side has 5 sheets done.If the weather holds up I'll try and get the other side finished next week.

Impressive build. Will be watching for updates.
I must have the slowest build thread on here, anyway progress is progress.
As of today we finished off fitting the last 23 roof panels, each one 26.5 ft long, ridge cap was fitted and screwed down. Yay no more snow inside the shed! I have the east gable to sheet over and the overhead door to install then its weatherproof.
Here's a couple of pictures from today.
I also framed in the office and the bathroom and finished the rough plumbing,the building inspector checked it out and gave me a thumbs up on that.
Which means my permit is good for another 6 months .

Thanks for the update, i would not worry about being slow as you are undertaking a huge project in not so nice conditions, weather wise.

Don`t forget to put heat in the Office area. I don`t want to get cold tootsies when I come to stay....I`m sure Sarah won`t have me in the House...(well maybe the girls will be allowed in.....!!) Merry Christmas, Big T....

You are lucky you can build like that in CO. It would take a truck load of x bracing here in CA just to get an inspector within 100 feet of the building.
I forget you Kiwi's are a bit shandy with the cold like! As long as you bring some metal shaping tools with ya,wull let yer in the house!!
Just the office and bathroom will be insulated to begin with, I will spray foam insulate the rest of it eventually but that stuff is spendy!
Another very tardy update on the shed.
'Twas the week before Christmas ,not an animal stirred!.......except for the building Inspector,who passed the final inspection on 'the Shed'
This resulted in a 'Certificate of Occupancy' .I can now officially work on schtuff in the Shed. Woohoo!!
