I acquired a 3 car detached block garage recently and am in the process of renovating it to suit my needs.

There is a huge tree behind it, I'm not sure what species yet.

Inherited lots of funny wire blocks. (Don't worry they've all been disconnected - you can see I cut most of the romex.)

Installed new garage doors and had to re-trim them all.

Installed new 2x6 rafter ties.

Started new electrical install.

So I decided to redo everything with 3/4" EMT.

1. 20 AMP GFCI + 3 other 20amp recepts (NOT TR/WR).
2. 15 AMP lighting circuit to two switches.
3. 15 AMP GFCI to garage door recepts + 3 way switch to outside lights and wiring loop back to house.

Coming Soon:
50amp welder plug
Actually hooking up the outside lights, finding some first and mounting them, then finding a switch in the house.
Another 20AMP recept + lighting circuit to lean-to - back of garage.
One double pole 20amp breaker for a MW branch (shared neutral) and to keep my panel at 6 handles.

Need an outdoor recept or two.

Finally got my trim started around my garage doors. I had to replace all the 2x6s inside when I did the doors and track and ripped down all the old trim.

I went and picked up some 1x10 and used Behr Paint and Primer in one exterior. Not cheap, but it was like glue applying it. Seemed to work nice and was workable down to 45degrees or so the can says.

Nailed it up and had fun securing it to the concrete header.

I used those vinyl garage door weatherstripping, drilled some small holes and nailed it on.

Have to caulk it, make it pretty and the last coat outside.
