Made a crude sandblaster

It was HOT in Middle Tennessee this weekend and I needed to etch some stainless tumblers and I didn't want to do them in the heat. So I grabbed a tote and fab up this crude sandblasting box. Only used what I had on hand in the garage, duck tape, old rain coat, piece of Plexiglass, and some weather stripping. Worked like a charm, I sat in the AC and did all 8 cups. I'm picking up some better material for the arm holes today. But I can't complain. Here are a couple of pics. I've ordered another nozzle, the one in the picture is a handheld with hopper on top. It's to big and heavy to work good in the box. Also a picture of my work. You would like a custom stainless tumbler?

Fu@king A. Good idea. I am going to steal this idea if you don't mind. Just bought 10 tumblers for some friends.

Yes!

But I want the cheap Walmart Ozark Trail tumbler.

No, wait. Yeti. Has to be Yeti. All the cool people use Yeti. Even that guy on Dirt Everyday uses Yeti. Mmmm. Yeti.

Wait, what brand tumbler is in the pic? I supposed I could try that one. Is that mid-priced somewhere between Yeti and Walmart?

No. Yeti.

Hmm. Payday isn't until next Friday. I'll go with the Walmart.

:bounce:

Pretty sharp work Mr. Creswell.

Thanks, the onesame in the picture are the Ozark, I have a few on hand. Finding them is like looking for bigfoot. They are 25.00 etched, shipping if on the west coast runs around 8.00. Shoot me an email at [email protected] if interested.
