I took a shift lever out of a 1960 C60 4sd. Pulled the shift lever out of my T5 ******. Compared the 2 . The 4sd lever had flat sides the T5 round. I added some steel with the mig . Strightened the lever so it would go into my lathe. Turned the end down the same as the T5 lever. Drilled a hole for the pivoit pin. Put it together. I now have a longer lever. It shifts great on the bench. Hope to have it behind a 292 someday and try it out in the real world.
