Picked up this thing today. It says Made in Canada, has remnants of a blue paint on the handle. Both the wrench and the jaw have a J in a diamond. Oh and it's also stamped CNR for Canadian National Railway which is kind of cool.

Any idea on maker?

Well that got me looking, Doug. Cambridge was formed in '73 per wikipedia. According to 3bay's link, A.B. Jardine & Co. was founded in 1870 and in business until just after WWII.

This wrench looked so nice I thought it had to be more modern. It's not even all rusted up yet, and I think the paint may be original. Wow. That is kind of surprising.
