Made in Germany Specialty Tool - Help ID

Hello!

I got a few tools from a guy who specialized in higher-end cars - a lot of Porsche. This tool was included and I can't figure out what it is or the brand. Does anyone have any ideas? It says "Made in Germany - 9562."

Porsche 911 special tool as shown in the June 1998 catalog:
(The order number is a Porsche part number.)

Here's how it works:
It locks the main and layshafts together, so there's no movement in the pinion when you are measuring the backlash of the crown wheel. Fits all Porsche gearboxes from probably already a 915 up to G50 based 997 ones, including Cup gearboxes.
