This might not be such a big deal to the american denizens of this board, who can purchase just about any tools they want which are Made in the US, but for those of us whose countries don`t have a huge manufacturing sector its a pretty cool thing.
I was at my local engineering supply store last week, looking for a set of metric drills and a new hand riveter, and I found that the best deals in terms of both quality and price were locally made
Interestingly enough, apparently the much more expensive eclipse riveters have a higher return rate than the NZ made Wire-lok brand - so I`m very happy with my purchase, as well as the fat i`m supporting local workers...
