I also wear them and like them alot. Very comfortable and I'll try to notice how dry my feet stay. Cna't say as I've paid attention to that.

As far as price, I think I paid $5. a pair, and am happy and would buy them again.

They are nice socks. We just cut the foot part off and put the elastic
part over top the breathers on the puke tanks of drag cars. Still allows
them to breath well yet catches any ****** that may make its way
through the breathers. Just doing our part to keep the track surface
clean...

I bought a bag with 12 pairs of cotton socks. I cannot remember the brand. The package said they were made in the U.S.A.

I bought them at Wal-Mart.

our snap on guy gave us all a pair of the socks for Christmas, I think they are worth 5 bucks a pair, I always grab them before any other socks when I'm sorting through the sock basket in the morning.

I haven't tried the Snap-on socks yet, but I love Carhartt socks! They feel great, keep my feet feeling great, they breathe, and I have yet to wear a pair out (a big problem of mine, I wear out the double layered socks like nothing).

I wear Red Wing socks, $6 a pair. Made in U.S.A.
I tried Thorlo socks (considered the best by a lot of folks) at $12-$18 a pair. I think the Red Wings are a better value.

While we are on the subject, has anyone else tried the heat-moldable insoles from Red Wing? you put them in the oven and then put them in your shoes and stand in them. They mold themselves to your feet. Very comfortable and supportive.

I keep my Snap-on and Craftsman socks on those new Hanson sock organizers. They take up a lot of room in the drawer, but it is really fast to just reach in and grab just the sock I want.:)

The most comfortable socks I have ever worn are Thorlos. The only socks I know of that would still be fluffy after kicking around in boots for 16-18 hours...or more.

However, they stink (bad), shrink uncontrollably in a dryer, and are expensive.

Now I just buy lots of common work socks, and throw them away when they are worn out. Having more pairs makes them last a heck of a lot longer, and I just buy a dozen or so pair every year.

i like my older craftsman socks but their quality has gone done hill lately on the new ones. my short sk ones are ok but the long ones not so much, i can't get my feet in far enough. i hear the wright socks are good cause they are family made in the usa forever. i like the snap on socks but i don't buy them new, only used at swapmeets or on ebay. they don't look very good but i feel good when i buy the evolv ones at sears. to bad they don't make bonney or indestro socks anymore.
