Help me out folks. Do any of you know if anybody manufactures tire chains in the USA for size 32 x 11.5 x R15 tires? My rubber is BF Goodrich All Terrain TA's..."The Other Guy, Remember?" I'd appreciate your help. Thank you and Merry Christmas...Bill

I'm not a chain guy, but keep tire cables in both of my cars as backup even tho I run snow tires on them both--OCD--don't ask  .

Shur Grip by SCC is what I use and all still USA made pro cables per the label on each set's plastic bin.

If they moved things offshore, then look for some NOS and they may even make chains.

In September 2011, SCC became a division of the Peerless Industrial Group (www.peerlesschain.com), headquartered in Winona, Minnesota.*Peerless is a leading U.S. manufacturer and world-wide competitor in supplying products for hardware, industrial, marine, military and retail markets.
Other divisions and brands of the Group are Peerless Chain Co., Letellier Material Handling Equipment, Acco Marine and Weissenfels USA.

peerless makes there chains here. but i think id request a usa set, because they do have some of it made in china. i think for cars and trucks that is still made here. you will know the difference if you get the china stuff right away.

Thanks everybody for your help in tracking down USA made chains or cables. I'll pursue those companies...maybe I've stumbled upon a need if it turns out that none are made in the US for light truck tires...or maybe that's why they aren't made here anymore? Interesting:wtf:

Good luck, my local heavy truck shop only gets China for ltrucks. They make some great skidder and heavy equipment chains, but nothing for plows. I'dlove to know a source for US sets.

On a side note the chains on my plow truck saved my **** yet again today, pure ice under the snow, never would have pulled it off w/o chains!
