Anyone know if there are any other brands besides C.S. Osborne & Co. making arch punches in the USA?

I would be open to German or other European brands if they come in SAE sizes.

Not arch punches but may serve your purpose. Goto the catalogue page to see more options.

I used to have a set and they were good. Use the search term Gasket punch for searching out others.

Always wondered what those are called. I just made one from a piece of pipe.

I've always wanted one of the bigger sets of the Mayhew punches linked above, but could never justify it for how little I would use it vs the $$$. The link lists it as made in France which surprised me. Not sure if that's accurate...

I bought this set off a tool truck, 30+ years ago. I would have purchased the MAYHEW hollow punches, if I knew they were available. I may get the Mayhew set anyway.
My set is Made in England.

^ they show up on ebay quite often, but not as sets - always solo - and invariably Kraeuter. (maybe the others aren't marked?)

usually listed as "hole punch" because sellers don't know what they are. I'd never heard the term "arch punch" until you posted this thread.

(and Mr. Buranen gave us weekly tests on tool nomenclature in wood shop!)

I went online to check pricing. I found the difference in price was as much as $600. This is a good reason to check pricing. The most expensive offer did not include shipping from USA, border taxes and possibly brokerage fees. I got trapped on $43 parts for a drill grinder when the sipping company added $100cdn brokerage to my shipment.

I bought my set for a specific use, but now that I have them I use them more than i could imagined. My Mayhew set is holding up well too. Plus it allows you to double the dies up to create concentric circles when needed

McMaster-Call sells excellent USA made Arch Punches. They are made by O'Brien Consolidated Industries in Lewiston Maine. They also offer a resharpening service for their Arch Punches for a very reasonable price. They are expensive to buy, especially in larger sizes, but they are made extremely well and are super sharp.
