I need to replace a hose bib in my back yard and all I can find is made in China junk. Can anyone point me to a made in USA (or at least not made in China) hose bib? I checked with Prier and Woodford but they don't seem to make what I need (3/4" FEMALE inlet, and would prefer 1/4-turn).

Prier is made in Switzerland I believe.
Edit: I see you already checked with them. Completely missed that.

Prier and Waterford have valves made in the US. 3/4” inlet might be hard to find as you Already know.
Many are frost proof and in CA likely not needed.

Just installed new legend 3/4 ball valve bibs around the whole house. American company but I think the bodies themselves are made in Italy. The quality is very good.

This is what I'm replacing. It already sticks out from the house a country mile so I'd prefer not to add length with couplers but it's certainly an option. If I knew who made it I'd look for a replacement stem but I can find any markings.

Or spend 15 bucks, buy a new Arrowhead hose bib from amazon and move on with your life....:bounce::bounce::bounce::lol_hitti:beer:

I thought I replied to this thread. I have a few Arrowheads that are available from Ace hardware. They are used daily, probably 20 or more times a day and still don't leak, handles didn't break etc after about 6 years of heavy use. At the time they were only about $2.00 more than the chicon junk.

Think the most common failure point ( leak) is the vacuum break device either the built in or add on.
Often the spring or gasket seal point in the break.

(In Ciff Craven voice): Well actually Normy, that's not a garden valve. the Arrowhead valve discussed has an anti-siphon valve built in. The cheaper chinese ones I see have the same profile as the Arrowhead garden vales, but no built-in anti-siphon valve. I live on a hill, and run fertilizer through my sprinlkers occasionally so i am actually concerned about siphoning.

Oh yeah, a true 3/4 garden valve will flow twice as much water as a sill-****. The new 1/2 & 3/4 garden valves I've seen are really just 1/2 garden valve with the larger threads also. For flow, get a Arrowhead 3/4 Garden valve.
