Made my own toolbox butcher block.

Just made a butcher block for my new box. It's a kra2422. It's a oak butcher block. Got it from Menard and cut it down to fit. Turned out really good. Cheaper then a snap on one.

Wow, I saved a bunch of butcher block when I redid my kitchen two years ago... I never thought about using it on top of toolbox. That would have to be a sturdy (ehem, non Harbor Freight) box no? Or can you weld in supporting metal pieces?

Top turned out real nice. Great deal on the box.

As a reseller of boxes, I have looked for old butcher block tables to make tool box tops. Would help sell some boxes, and keep the costs down.
