I recently purchased, and made a previous thread about the Kreg Accucut jig. This past weekend I finally got around to trying it out and I was pretty bummed to find that my Mag77 doesn't seem to play well with the sliding base. There just doesn't seem to be a good way to secure it using the stock hardware. Has anyone found a solution to this?

I have the same issue with a dewalt 20v saw. I plan on drilling through the base of the saw into the kreg and inserting two alignment pins. I may also change the clamps to a homebrew setup. The Kreg is a nice concept, but doesn't play well with a lot of saws.

Well dammit...this the nicest saw I own so I wanted to avoid modding it...but it might be unavoidable at this point if I'm dead set on using it with the Kreg. I have an old, and cheap, Osh branded right side blade sidewinder that I may use as my dedicated Kreg jig saw. I just hate the idea of relying on a cheap saw to make accurate cuts when I have a nice saw just sitting there.
