I am working on storage cabinets right now and need a way to hold them shut, I thought I seen a flange mount magnet at one point that would work great, anyone know where these can be found? if not any other good ways of holding the doors shut without having to latch something

Home depot has them for $1.98 each. They look like a piston and when you push the door in they will hold it shut, and when you push again the door will pop open. I've been looking for the same thing but I need 48 of them and that will cost more than what I paid for the cabinets.

Magnetic catches will work in most cases, ( if the doors aren't too heavy) and should be able to be found at any hardware stores, ( maybe even Walmart ) or you could use a roller catch style latch as well like the one pictured below.

If by “flange mount” you mean the door overlaps the frame I would look into using a strip of the rubber magnets that you can buy by the foot.

You may want to inlet the ribbon for a flush fit.
