Magnetic Tool Storage

I just picked up two of these magnetic screwdriver holders from Grizzly, and I am wondering if anyone knows of a similar storage device for nut-drivers? T-Handles? Any other cool magnetic holders for the side of the box? Mine is filling up fast, and being able to utilize the side for quick storage of commonly used tools will be nice.

I got one of these in the Sunex brand, not magnetic, but instead of using screws I bent the top lip over to grip the "rail" on my roll away.

I am not so worried about locking it, but that might work. Still haven't found any nut driver or t-handle holders, but these look interesting

The paper towel and glove holders pictured above work like a champ.

For the other small trays, skip the HF version and go with the Grip On Tools 4 piece set from Northern Tool.

You get four various size magnetic trays with excellent rubber on them to prevent the paint from coming off your box. The trays are made well and the magnets hold on like a broken hearted ex.

Drill them like you want or leave them as is.

Hey, BB, how does this unit do horizontally? I mean, if it were on my cart lid and I closed the lid, would the drivers more or less stay in place, or spew out?

I'm low budget.

I cut out one of the holes of my low budget screwdriver holder to fit the interior door clip remover. Yes, the screwdrivers aren't cool, either. I imagine a 2X4 and a drill press would make a fine, low budget wooden version. I had these, so that what I used.

Lowes is carrying some magnetic tool trays that are Kobalt brand. I was checking out the magnetic socket trays in my local Lowes store, they seem useful.

I have the Lowes' for 1/4" sockets, and I don't like them at all. The sockets don't stay put well IMO.

I want to know about the magnetic screwdriver holders specifically, since the cart lid where I store them and use them from is up during the day, but closed at night. I don't think an L-bracket with holes will suffice for me.

On a lid, I can assure you that an L-whatever will not work.
I'm interested to see inf he magnetic bit can work for that as well.

I have those Lowes socket holders, and when used in stock configuration they don't hold sockets when used on a flip-top toolbox. The magnets are just not strong enough.

What I did to correct that issue was purchase a bunch of thin block magnets, such as the BY041 from K&J Magnetics and placed them on the stock magnet. This makes the holder clamp tight to the box lid, and holds the sockets much more tightly. Each block magnet has a pull of about five pounds, and when combined with the stock magnet you have quite a strong holder. I really have to tug to get the sockets off.
