I've seen a few of these kits, but they seem pretty limited. I have the ability to make them, and am curious what labels you feel would be valuable to include in something like this.

A few in mind so far:

Breaker bars
Saw blades
Allen wrenches
Hex keys
Screwdrivers
Tape measures
Torches
Metric sockets
SAE sockets
Special sockets
Snips/shears
Crescent wrenches
Pliers
Cutters
Soldering tools
Grinding tools
Torque wrenches
Electrical tools
Extension cords
Hammers
Air tools

I got mine here.. pretty cool looking and will make finding tools in my box a snap! They have a wide variety of icons, but I'm sure they are missing something. Might give you some ideas.

To be honest I don't care much for labeling drawers, I know where my stuff is and I don't particularly want to advertise the contents of my tool box.

I just have red and blue rubber drawer bottoms to keep the metric and SAE apart.

I have lots of friends the come by to wrench so it's handy. Plus I just bought a new black-friday Craftsman box and I'm going to have to relearn where everything is. lol

Steve, that is a great idea. I just got the Craftsman box and was just wondering how I was going to remember where everything was without having to open most of the drawers.

Mike, please let me know what you determine to be a good solution.

Also, what material do you use for lining the inside of the drawers?

Brad
