Ok so I bought a Streamlight switchblade light a couple weeks ago, Nice light overall, but so far it's managed to fall off what it was stuck to a couple of times already and crack the one lens.
What is it with work lights and weak magnets??? Seems like just about all that are magnetic have weak magnets. For as much as you pay for some of these, especially truck brand lights, you'd think they'd use better magnets.
I have several of these ATD saber lights, and they actually stick to what you put them on unless there is too much rust/scale build up. Being a small light they can be easy to lose though. Fairly inexpensive too, compared to some. https://www.amazon.com/ATD-Tools-80340-Rechargeable-Pocket/dp/B00KMKS4EC/ref=sr_1_1?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1528238276&sr=1-1&keywords=atd+80340
I just dont get why they cant use a neodymium magnet(s) and be done with it. Yeah, they are expensive, but being most lights are made in china anyway with the mark up they already have it shouldn't add that much more.
