Can I put 1/4 3/8 and 1/2" clips all on the same rail? Or does the rail size change with the clip sizes?

Than you

If you shop around, and get the jobber pack, they're not that painful. You can also think of them as the last socket rails you'll ever buy.

Right now they have 25% off of there starter pack that includes 3 rails, For me to do my entire socket drawer it will be $450, It's an investment, and right now my sockets are mostly on the traditional metal clip rails, but some of my stuff is in the Mac hangng trays, I'm trying to get away from those trays, because I just got a KRL7022, no place to hang them

Just pulled the trigger on these, hope they are as nice as everyone says.

Will the magnets work through the snap on drawer liners??

those of you that use these...

Do the sockets come off relatively easily from the rail? As in just lift off like a Hansen rack? Or is it like a clip type rai where you have to hold the rail and separate the socket? Which I DO NOT want.

They only have two faults. Price as noted, and the 1/2 rail could be longer and a little wider. The magnets are very strong. I highly recommend them.

The magnet on bottom for securing the rail? or the magnets that hold the sockets?

The bottom of the magrail seems to have stronger magnetic attraction. You can easily remove sockets with a finger and a thumb. However, separating the magrail from a tool cart lid takes a lot more effort.

Too well! When I need multiple sockets or I'm not sure what sizes I'll need, I don't bother trying to pry the rail off the drawer bottom. I start plucking sockets off the rail.

Go to the Vim tool website. They sell 20" and 24" Magrail TLs. Also they have a package of 10 Rail Lifters for $5.95. The Rail Lifter makes it easy to remove a Magrail from a surface.
The Rail Lifters can also be used as tool separators by removing the lift ring.
Hope this helps.

Thanks Fedwrench! I really appreciate your posts and this tip. Ordered a jobber pack today.

Where do you buy the jobber pack??

I ordered a jobber pack from Tooltopia. You can get them on the VIM site as well but the pricing is not as good.
