My main panel appears to have no available lug to connect a neutral for a sub panel. My sub panel appears to have two ground bars each with its own lug. It looks like the ground lugs from the sub panel will fit on the neutral bar of the main panel. Since I wont need two ground bars on the sub panel, I could steel the ground lug from it and put it on the neutral bar of the main panel. I'm wondering if that is an appropriate way to tie in the neutral to the sub panel. My main panel is shown in the first picture. The sub panel is shown in the second picture.

All manufacturers sell lug kits as accessories, be sure to buy from the same manufacturer as thread sizes do vary.

Thank You

I did find this. It looks like it will fit onto the neutral bar but I have no idea what that plastic part is for. I also don't know how to tell if I have and EQIII load center. The label for my load center is attached.?
