Unsure where to post this, and I have a feeling I may have seen this topic here before, so I'm happy just to receive a link!

I'm hoping to return to 1/10th scale electric touring car racing, starting from scratch so a bit of an investment.

I'll need hex drivers in 1.5, 2.0, 2.5 and 3.0mm and nut drivers in 5.5 and 7.0mm.

Last time around I had Hudy but this time I probably won't have that sort of cash to spend (they're about $25 per driver) so I wondered what else was about?

Wera and Wiha have been recommended, and there appears to be a good deal locally on Carlyle drivers.

So, any recommendations?

A further "requirement" is that I really do like matching sets! I saw some nice, good value Engineer hex keys, but apparently no matching nut drivers (that I could find, at least)

So, any mainstream recommendations?

Or even particularly good value RC brand experience? EDS are apparently good, and much less than Hudy or Arrowmax

Anyway, as always, all help gratefully received!

I'd go PB Swiss for all the tools.
I should add I'm in the UK, so some brands may be unavailable. PB Swiss are available but seem to be more expensive than the Hudy?

Thanks anyway

Also, I'd be open to a high quality multi blade set. Not a bit set, but a nice handle and blades might be good

I'm a Wiha fan, and their pico grip is really nice, but you also can't go wrong with Wera or PB Swiss. All are excellent choices, so if you don't really have a handle preference, then it comes down to $.

The above is what I added to my tool set when the grandson wanted me to help with his RC cars. The Neiko and the handled drivers are Amazon buys. In addition I use from muy regular tool sed pliers and ball drivers. The Neiko set is used with a power driver or the Wiha ratchet.

I've been using Moores Ideal Products (MIP) and Vanquish for my RC stuff. Both have lasted 3 years so far without any type of failure...

I wouldn't be averse to something like the Wiha @larry_g posted above, but I'd much prefer blades rather than bits...

I think I'm right in calling long bits blades?

Thanks again for all replies so far

Blades are the correct term.

Have you checked out CK Tools? I know they sold a lot of stuff in the UK from Germany.
