Majestic Vise No. 545

As Promised, Pics & Specs: Jaws are 4 5/8 wide and 4 5/8 Open; Overall length (closed) is 16 1/4; Weight is 41 lbs; Tube Slide on moveable jaw; Brass Garter on Screw inside tube. 2 flaws: one Jaw Screw has broken off and One jaw is the victim of a stray contact with a wire feed welder. Otherwise All parts are present and it looks like an easy restore in the original red. Very Good Quality Medium Duty Vise made when Companies cared about such things.

It looks like Wilton Bullet mated with a Parker vise. That's a sweet looking vise.

From the crappy online auction photo, I was hoping for a Parker. As I was taking it apart, Wilton crossed my mind. Both from Chicago, but history being what it is, sounds like a reach. Thanks

That is a great looking vise! It has an interesting combination of features...round slide but open screw slot at the bottom. That vise should look really nice when freshened up. The acme threads still look good so you have a winner. Have a slice of vise pie tonight for such a great find!
