You can buy a retractable reel light (work light) for about $50 anywhere but I am interested in making my own. I have seen someone use a old vacuum cleaner reel (power cord retractable reel) and it works very good. Anyone have any ideas on how else you could make one. I want the light cord itself to be about 50 feet long. What can I use for the retractable reel?
