Over the years have made various indoor/ outdoor fixtures --- need three fixtures for my new build .... Buying more of these is out of the question.

I'm having problems with the joint ... Any ball joints with hollow shafts?

This is going into a wrap around staircase -- want the fixture to hang out from the opposing wall at the landings.

I have the shade figured out and the rest is sort of easy ... but, I need an interesting joint.

This is not a plumbing sort of house .... not going for steampunk.

This house is not quite as tailored -- but it has the same look and trim details.

Could you drill & tap a aluminum ball? No swivel but would have a similar look.

Have been searching for all kinds of items -- to fake the one made by the blacksmith. That is all steel and the joint is real ... I does not need to move as the original.

Pool ball would be too large ...

Dustball -- thanks for that link .... that would work ... just not as attractive
