That's an interesting way to make a sandblast nozzle. I believe in other posts on here, people have mentioned using a ball valve rated for blasting use, to get the wear reduced, and for a longer life-cycle.

Isn't a 'deadman switch/valve' one which automatically turns-off when the operator's grip on it is released?
