I am making some progress on my garage addition. The overhead insulation was blown in today. The power was turned on yesterday and all lights (25 4 gang 48"flourescents) , lift, outlets work. I painted the interior (luan paneling) with a semi gloss white. It is real bright-as I wanted. However, this board soaked up the paint. I hate to say it but I used 33 gallons of paint on the interior of this shop (31x54x12)-the ceiling is also luan. I bought a spray rig from HD and it worked well but used a massive amount of paint. The exterior is brick and tomorrow (Sat) I am going to paint the brick. I am using a latex primer followed by a latex color coat. Hope I don't use as much as on the inside. It has taken me 2 days to mask up the exterior getting ready to paint. Everthing about this job is measured in days-3 day s to install the ceiling; 3 days to install the walls; 2 & 1/2 days to paint the interior; etc. i have had a great time doing it, however. I hope to get some better pictures so yall can see the progress.
Mike
