Anyone have the Makita cordless 1/2 impact wrench? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01JLBII84/?tag=atomicindus08-20
I'm trying to look up reviews of it, but 90% of what I'm finding on the old interweb is shills reposting the Makita propaganda.
Why am I looking at this one? I moved to Hawaii last year. I substantially downgrade my shop from a 600 sqft CNC machine shop to a 3x8 closet in the house I'm renting. My "garage" shares a single 15 amp circuit with the down stair tenants living room. As a result running the air compressor is a complete none starter. The Snap-On MG735 and NitroCat have been resigned to the drawer for the next year or two.
I've come up on a couple of situations where an impact or my pneumatic ratchet would have been nice. I'm already invested in the Makita battery line and happy with the tools I have. I'm wondering if impact is worth the $300 buck they are asking for it?
I would appreciate any first hand experience with it.
