Well since Makita doesn't have a damn email to ask questions and only has a phone number that I'm usually too busy during the day to call, I thought I'd ask here.

I'm wanting to purchase the new brushless 6 1/2 circ saw they offer. My options are bare tool, or kit with the contractor bag.

I guess I'm in the minority of wanting a hard case. I see one of their cordless models and some corded models offer a hard case.

Anyone know If I can purchase a hardcase seperately for this saw? I cannot find anything on their website or searching google to figure out the answer.

Thanks

Keep in mind jc cayer tools has had many poor reviews and several forum members have had bad luck with this company and I would not suggest doing business with them

A lot of circular saws will fit in other brands' cases. I have my DeWalt circular saw sitting in a Skil plastic case. :) I got it for 10 cents at a yard sale. But if you're OCD you want the beautiful teal blue Makita case.
