Be sure it’s brushless using both at work brushed and brushless and brushless has much more power. Neither will grind like a corded grinder.

I have a heavily used XAG03 and a XAG04. They look the same to me and both work great. As has already been said, they don't do what a plug in one will, but they are definitely as good or better than anything else on the market. When you don't have convenient power they can save a lot of time, just make sure you have a few big batteries.

I have this Makita grinder takes 1/4 bits. 18V. One speed. Thing is a monster. Used it once to carve a hole in the dash of my 2009 Crown Vic. Cut like butter.

I got three of the brushless angle grinders that were packaged with their yard tool promotions. I'll check which model later this morning.

I'm very glad to have them. I'm guessing they're not Makitas best model but they're still great.

Whichever one you chose I believe the variable speed feature on a grinder is great. So my Makita grinders are the variable speed variety. I have one with an on/off switch and another with a paddle switch. The beauty of the variable speed is both longer life for flap discs, which are suppose to run at 6,000 rpm and the fact that it works fantastic as a polisher using 3" attachments at 2,800 rpm.
