Makita Metal cutting saw?

It looks like the least expensive cold saw you can get. Reviews seem ok...anyone have experience with one?

Both Amazon and Home Depot have it for $439.00. I'd like to drop a coupon on it but I can't find any.

Had one for probably 15 years, mostly use it for cutting unistrut. But have cut some 1/4" angle and about 1 1/2" solid steel. Would buy another if i needed to.

You can get the same type of saw for a lot less. Northern Tool's Model looks to be about the same, quality-wise (although that's a guess on my part) and it's $265.

i've owned mine for a month now. Bought a CPO recon and couldn't be more pleased.

The saw is a beast!! It's got a lot of power and don't give a rats *** what it cuts.
