Home Depot has the 12v CT232RX kit for $102.99. This has the shorter drill/driver and impact of the CT232 set, but with larger 2Ah batteries (with charge level lights) and a metal case.

3camels shows it’s consistently been $160-ish on Amazon. Using the $110 gift card for $100 from PayPal made it about $100 after tax for me.

I bought three 12v drill/impact sets (all brushed): Bosch, Milwaukee, and Makita. I would have been happy with any of them individually, but after using them side by side, the Makita became my favorite by far for its ergonomics - the thin handle and balanced weight between the battery and drive end.

Saw these two in the NYC Home Depot.
Not sure if they're a good deal or not, let me know what you think.

The 1/2 sq. drive impact has a detent instead of a hog ring.
Could not see the battery amperage.
It also had a clear plastic nose piece just behind the square drive,
I think this would crack quickly in use.

The 1/4 hex bit impact driver was not brushless, it said 4-pole motor.

I have the XWT11z. I think that's a good price with the case, charger and batter (2 amp-hour, IIRC).

I am not as hard on an impact wrench as I am on other tools but nothing has cracked as of yet.

I like the pin detent. It is shaped in a way that allows sockets to be removed without depressing the pin. I haven't tried it with a super small and/or short socket, however. My arthritis ridden hands might have trouble with that.

I own a different Makita impact driver so not sure about the brushed model for sale.

Makita has a promo at Home Depot right now where if you buy a starter battery & charger kit, you get a free tool, (selected from a list of 10). The interesting thing is that the discount is applied to each item in your cart, allowing one to return the battery bundle and keep the discount on the tool (normally around 40% off).

This thread details the steps to take. I can confirm this works, but you can’t use their app to check out.

Home Depot has a great deal on several Makita tools that normally don’t go on sale. The bundle includes 2x4.0Ah LXT batteries and charger, but some folks have been able to return those for a refund and keep the discounted tool.

Not a killer deal but these Makita cut off wheels seem to perform similar to Metabo Slicer Plus wheels. Made in Germany so maybe they come from the same source. At $35.06 for 25 on Amazon it was a good enought deal for me.

you will get it. one nice thing about HD, they don't cancel orders (99% of the time), especially when it wasn't a mistake but a clearance price.

Tractor Supply has the Makita inflator as a bare tool for $99. When you put it in your cart it allows you to add a bonus tool which happens to be brushless impact/drill/2 battery/charger kit for free. You have to tinker with pickup/shipping/store availability. YMMV.

Has anyone received theirs. I am still waiting. Shipping label was printed but Fedex hasn't received it. Home Depot keeps telling me to wait since it might show up. I'm giving it another week. I would've already canceled if it wasn't such a great deal.

I got mine...2 weeks ago I think? Actually just checked my pictures, it arrived on the 29th so if you don't have it something went wrong in the process and I'd open a ticket with FedEx to start

Bunch of holiday deals at depot where you buy a kit and get free tool. If you buy the XT288T kit you get two free tools. Couldn’t pass that up today, got that and the jig saw and grinder for $399.

Price of admission for cordless nailers remain high so prices for conventional air tools are coming down.

Picked up this Makita dual line string trimmer on clearance for $99. Includes the charger and 4.0 LXT 18V battery which makes it worth it if you find it at the HD

Big Orange has the Makita Multi-Tool at the reduced price of $99, down from $129 or $139. One location had a Makita display in the front aisle with a stack of maybe twenty of these. Even in the normal tool aisle, the price sticker showed the new price. My closest store hasn't put any out yet, nor changed the price sticker.

Note, this is a brushed tool.
