I think I finally found a stopping point in my quest for the perfect man cave. It took me about 4-5 months to get from previous to now pictures, but it was a worthy project. There really are too many things to list that I did so I will let the pictures do the talking. The only thing left is to insulate the attic space above garage, but that should not be too difficult with blown in cellulose. Anything missing? http://s810.photobucket.com/albums/zz28/malb75/Man Cave Garage/?albumview=slideshow

Absolutely, everything folds up and goes in closet or against wall when not in use. :rocker: Even the pool table has folding legs. Would not let Betsy stay out in the cold.:3gears:

They clean up quite nicely. Most of the time I just use a leaf blower and done. As far as mopping, easier than any floor I've ever cleaned.

Nice Cave !!! What size Shinco did you buy? Any feedback on it, Heat and AC? How about the model and brand of the projector? Looking to do some similar things.

Very nice!

Get a small shed for the back yard and get all those garden tools, bikes, and clubs out of the cave!

Too Cool! What a great place for a game day (Super Bowl or whatever). Well done implementing a dual purpose space for people with only an attached garage! I bet the beer fridge is a little small for most parties!

Have you got any pics of the construction/transformation in progress?

The mini split is a 12,000 1ton unit with inverter technology. I think it is very efficient as the fan and compressor only speed up/down with the need. Traditional units its all or nothing. That technology should save me a few bucks.:dunno: Here's where I got it: http://www.minisplitwarehouse.com/S..._Wall_Bracket_Black_Onyx/p315964_2954936.aspx It does heat and cool quite nicely for a 400+ sf garage with no attic insulation.

The projector is a Acer 5360. I got it here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824009223
I purchased this particular projector because it is compatible with 3d. I have the Nvidia 3d kit for my pc and can now watch 3d movies or games on a 120" screen. It doesn't get much better than that. At least not in that price range. :drink:

I did put up a shed in the backyard a couple of weeks ago and got the mower and majority of garden stuff out. The bikes and clubs need to be easily accessed as the kids ride a lot and I like my clubs where I can see them. If I never saw them, I would probably never play or practice. I used to play at least once a week. This last year its down to once a month.

Looks like a badass place to hang out! Sometimes I wish I didnt love actually working on my truck so much so i could turn my garage into something like that (not saying you dont work on your car, I just would not weld, cut or grind steel in a place that nice )
