How do you back that car off the lift with no door behind it?

I'm assuming the door is towards the front? LOL, just looks funny from that angle, like you built the shop around the lift with no way to get anything out.

Thanks! You guys are dead on... I took the Muncie out and replaced with a Richmond 5 speed, and the mufflers are Super 40's... Can't wait to hear it run..

The shop is 36x45.. the garage door is 20' wide and at the front of the lift which isn't shown in the pic.. I'll try and take some pics of the exhaust hangers and post.. I took the stock hangers and through them in the blast cabinet and then powder coated them matte black so they are almost invisible up against the frame now.. those local evening adult ed welding classes came in handy on this project..

68 with a big block? Hard to tell without seeing the tail lights. Do the head light doors still work?

I had a 67 RS conv many years ago....327...burned up 3 power glides...slapped in a TH350....BIG difference......with the 4.56 rear end I could do the quarter in 13.21.....what I wouldn't give to have that car back......

Very nice ride.....glad to see another restored ride on the street....even if it does have a 'couple' of modifications.....

I should probably clarify.. It's a resto-mod.. there have been a few mod's over the years and the updates I have done.. It's a 67RS.. It has a new ZZ4 crate engine (350), and the Richmond.. Headlight doors work perfect.. I took every single piece apart and blasted and powdered and updated the electric motors on them.. Was a definite learning experience going back through limit switches and relay's to make those work..
