Most of them look like massive **** collections to me. But then, those guys probably would look at my shop and think the same about all my tools and projects.

Yup, displays of collectibles, not my cup of tea either, but I thought some guys here would like it.

Agree.

Don't get me wrong, I LIKE some of that stuff but I'd never want to own it much less have a room dedicated to it that I'd have to see over and over.

I agree. Would not be my choice to spend my time.

I think I agree with most of the above. In my opinion, finishing a basement doesn't make it a mancave yet some were very nice.

I think the most impressive was the sliding book shelf.

To the Bat Cave...

I wonder what is behind the other side?

I think that basement actually starts around photo 142, and it looked even more like the bat cave on the inside with the side-by-side computer monitors and assault rifles hanging on the wall, haha. But, apparently like everyone else, I wasn't interested in the collections as much.

I would also bet that the wall cabinet in the rifle room is really a hatch that leads from the secret man cave to the double-secret man cave.

Me to, wonder how hard it would be to figure out the details on how it works

My problem is even if I hid the hinges and casters, and even if I put a secret latch to open it... Either everybody would figure it out when my basement is only 100sf of bookcases or my man cave would be somewhat undersized :lol_hitti

When exactly did the phrase "Man Cave" start. I never card for it. We don't grunt, we don't actually drag our women around by the hair, and we don't carry clubs. Well Judges use gavels (sort of like a club) and that may explain some of their decisions.
