man lift stuck on incline?

so the husband calls and has a man lift stuck on a hill at an incline? and it wont move so his company says he has to stay with it and fix it. its a rental and he realy dont have a clue why It wont move. I saw and incline is dangerous and its prolly shut itself off but how do they move it now? Thanks for any input honey is tierd this heat!!! lol wants to come home thanks again

Surely it's the rental company's responsibility to keep their equipment in working order? Have him call them and explain the situation. They should come out and recover it and repair it.

Some lifts have safeties on them that prevent traveling on inclines above a certain angle, especially is the basket/platform is not in the fully lowered postion.

There should be an operator's manual with the lift that will outline the tilt alarm and how to lower the platform if needed.

If it is a malfunction then I agree that it should be the rental company's issues.
