Man size handles for screwdriver

I have searched and can't find screwdrivers and nut drivers with man size handles, only woman size handles...don't respond saying that the size is to prevent over stressing the nut & screw or other such nonsense. To get a man size handle you have to wrap 1/4" thick tape around the handle.

The square handles on older Snap on and SK screw drivers are pretty big. You could probably still find the SK ones new.

It's a fishing expedition without more information. More specifics about preferred handle size and what you've tried would narrow things down.

You could buy German or Swiss made blades and turn your own handles from hardwood. If you are not man enough to do it yourself, you could pay someone to do it for you. Of course a real man would also forge the blades.

I like the fat handles on my Ideal 11in1 screwdrivers. They make regular Klein handles seem tiny.

Try the Channellock acetates. They've got pretty chunky handles.

Vaco Bulldrivers have larger than average handles... not sure where you find a good assortment of them these days, though.

Proto duratek or the Dewalt, Stanley or Craftsman version of them. Milwaukee handles are a little bigger than normal.

I have sausage fingers, and have no troubles with most screwdrivers out there. I think the OP has bologna fingers.

Those haven't been available since the mid 1980s and the handles on mine crumbled to dust years ago.

Closest to that shape today is Witte. The new SO Instincts are even larger (and not my favorites by a long shot - neither are the "old style" SO/Williams hard handles).

I like the Instinct handle. It's pretty polarizing though, people seem to either love it or hate it. But this thread is silly. The bigger drivers have bigger handles. Every 00 Phillips is going to have a fairly small handle. That said I like Wiha Softfinish especially in Torx.

My soft handle SO Instincts are Tri-lobe and have yet to crumble..... and they are also very comfortable for large handed people.

OP: besides the SO Instincts, buy a Wright Cushion Grip screwdriver from HJE and see if you like them. Large rubber grip handle that takes a lot of abuse and never fails. I have had the square shank drivers for close to 20 years with no issues.....

Instinct is what I was thinking of. I dedn't realize they had a name.

On a serious note, some handles are tiny. Some. Most are perfectly normal feeling to me. It boils down to grip strength for the most part. Acetate handles usually slip so maybe the OP should be looking at handles with a rubber portion molded into the handle.
