I think this is the appropriate place for this... I am looking at re-plumbing my house with pex and I am trying to decide on Manabloc vs a copper manifold with ball valves..

This will be for potable water only, not for heating...

I am currently leaning towards the Manabloc, but I don't have anything invested yet; I am just looking for feedback/experiences...

TIA..

I installed the manabloc in my house I built in 2008. I had no issues with the install or any issues to date with the whole pex system in general. I used both hot and cold sides.

Good to hear, thanks!

Right now I am probably ordering the 24 port Manabloc and going with the Aquapex brand pex tubing with SS crimp rings...

The Manobloc manifold in the house we are buying is 20 years old. Seems to still be ok. We are having the whole house re piped, because it has Polybutylene tubing.
The big plumbing company in our town has a summer special of $3000 to repipe with PEX (no manifold) which includes a new water heater (10 yr)
I thought about paying more for a manifold, and started thinking, that there would be a heck of a lot more connections. With that and the cost, I decided not to use it.
The new house has 2 baths, kitchen, icemaker, utility sink, and 2 outdoor faucets.
All houses I have lived in didn't have a manifold.
