Finally decided to join up on here, here is my 30x40x12 barn,it was put up 9 years ago and was never finished out,I assume they used it for equipment storage, but by the time I got ahold of it needed some TLC,I have plans on finishing it all out into a Nice auto shop/hangout( slowly but surely)

A coat of paint on the outside and a concrete floor on the inside would do wonders for that barn. My only regret that I have when finishing my garage was that I didn't put insulation under the slab (due to cost). I should have put at least a minimal amount of foam insulation under there for a thermal break. Post more pics and tell us what you have planned for the space.

I'm already going to be in trouble later on,I used to skateboard and install carpet, the drain just shoots outside the barn right now, I was going to do a French drain deal, but I might add atoilet so I might have to tie into the septic soon

I scored this 16x10 shed for free off the craigslist, so I can keep the clutter in the shed (Lawnmower, shovels, ladders, ect..)

Love the look of corrugated metal with a nice "petina" combined with some rough cedar. I used the same stuff for my girlfriend's garden shed that's attached to my garage. I like the way it turned out, so I bought some more of the metal/cedar to put in my garage.

Nice, that turned out good!! It gives a cool look and is very cost effective as well, I can get the metal for 6 bucks per 3x12 sheet and the 3/4"6"x8' new ceader boards for 2 bucks each

What part of IN are you in? I live up NE in Auburn.
I am hoping to use the barn roofing on the interior ceiling of my gargage once it is built and would love to find some salvaged metal like that.

Silly question but what are you searching for on CL to find all of that stuff?

Nice truck BTW!! Did you import it or convert it to right hand drive?

I have always liked these type of buildings. I have a question. Are you going to hang drywall or insulate the building? I was curious on what kind of undertaking that would be.

Made a run for some insulation, good deal, $1 for the 1" sheets and $5 for the 2"sheets,they are new,but have been sitting outside for a couple months,so they need a little cleaning

No drywall, going for a old school patina look, using old corregTed metal and cedar planks, insulating the walls with ridged boards
