Hello I am getting closer to getting my radiant in, but have a few questions on the manifold and other parts.
I have 624 square feet of floor. I figure it will be 3 loops of 1/2 pex each a little over 200 ft.
I am planning on using (based on this board) a takigi tanklees water heater.
I know I need an expansion tank, pump, & thermostat ,but am not sure on the other stuff. I am still a little confused on the manifold.
Do I need a mixing valve ? I am guessing know because I can set the water temp on the heater. Do I need a pressure or temp valve on the manifold, air eliminator, slab sensor ? I see a bunch of different manifolds and prices . I am just trying to do this once and do it correct. Should I make my own manifold or just buy one.
I have done a bunch of investigating ,but I am still not sure about it.
Any pictures of a set up would be great. I do better as most people probably do with a visual.
