Not sure if I am I the right section for this question. I purchased this used lift and I cannot seem to find the directions for the install. Would anyone be able to hook me up.
Yes I have visited that site and there is good info there unfortunately no set up instructions. They have parts list but no set up info. I am sure I can get it set up just thought it would be valuable to have documentation on lift.
Hello Bobj49f2, any chance I could get a copy of the installation manual? I bought a used lift (in pieces), and would love to have a cheat sheet. Just guessing on putting this together is not high on my list...
I Pmed Bob, but if anyone else can help that would be great. I need to know the span in between main posts, The closest point from the foot pad to foot pad would be best. Thanks in advance, Jeremy
OK, so we routed the leveling wire inside the main post's like one would thin they would go, BUT, they go on the exterior of the posts to the inside. My Buddy has the same lift and this is whats done on his..
I know it has been a long time since this thread last had a post, but I also bought a used cff90. Does anyone have a pdf of this lift? I would like a copy if someone is so inclined. I have the posts up, and I see the cross bar is different on the ends. I am thinking that I only want to install it once. Thank you guys!
Hello saw your post for install for the CFF-90, I just purchaced one today with no info did you get an install manual if so any chance of emailing it to me or can you refer where I can get a copy.
Many thanks
Christian.
PM me your email address and I'll send .pdf copies of the instructions I have.
BTW, I might be loosing my lift in order to sell the building I have mine in. I really like the lift and don't want to let it go but if it's a way I can sell the building I'll have to do it. If anyone gets a line on a good used unit near SE Wisconsin please send me a message. I want to get the same unit, 9000# Manitowoc.
Good news, at least to me, I'm not losing my lift! Bummer is I'm also not selling my shop now, the deal fell through. But when I get a potential buyer the first thing I mention is the lift is getting pulled.
I've gotten a lot of requests for the Manitowoc literature I have and have been happy to email it to anyone interested. The only problem is one file, the installation instructions, is a rather big file and it takes a long time to email and some people seem not to be able to receive such a big file. I finally figured out how to post the files on my website. I wasn't allowed to before but now I am.
These are all the documents I have for the lift. They are all in .pdf format:
Glad it was a help. I'll be needing to look them over again. I pulled my left out of my business shop last year because I planned on selling the building. I have a 30'x50' pole building at my new house, so I'll be installing the lift in that. Hopefully soon, I've already spent $600 on truck repairs I could have done myself if the lift was up.
